Coming up Oct 7: The Dominant Bebop Scale with Lucas Michailidis
The month will be based on the Dominant Bebop scale and will draw heavily from the classic book by Jerry Bergonzi - Jazz Line. Bebop scales are incorporated in many styles ranging from jazz, blues and fusion and are a fantastic way of bringing a chromatic approach into our playing. We will take a systematic approach to applying this scale over different chord types including: Dominant 7th, Major 7th, Minor 7th and Minor 7th b5.
